About us

Allder Glass is a family company with over 100 years experience between the team. Incorporated in 1996 by key personnel from what was once Readings’ busiest glass and glazing company Allder Glass began. Most of our glaziers, therefore, have been part of the same team for in excess of 10 years, an essential part of our customer service. Not only that, but it makes the replacement of the largest of glass as smooth and fuss free as possible.

With a fleet of 10 fully equipped, modern vehicles, we are able to deal with anything from a small green house repair to a  14th floor replacement double glazed unit at the top of Readings’ tallest building, Broad Street Malls’ Fountain House. Our lengthy association with some of the countries leading insurance companies is a credit to our 100% genuine 24hour service. In our strive to offer the complete maintenance solution, we are supported by other proven tradesmen in the form of locksmiths, carpenters, builders, roofers, plumbers and electricians.

Many operations, ranging from the Oracle Shopping Centre to Reading Railway Station rely on us to help them with any glazing problem that they may have. Other operations call on us when a glazing problem arises, whether it is a broken high specification double glazed unit on the roof of Reading’s premier shopping centre, or a door panel at the south’s busiest railway station.

We are contracted by Reading Borough, Wokingham District, Wokingham Town, Woodley Town, Newbury Town and Maidenhead and Bray Councils.
